태도 (Attitude)

태도는 곧 그 사람의 인격이다.
(One's attitude is the mirror of their character.)
겸손하고 예의 바른 사람은 쉽게 사회에 물의를 일으키지 않는다.
(A humble and polite person is unlikely to cause trouble in society.)
사람을 대하는 태도가 정중하고 진심이 담겨 있다면, 그 사람은 자연스레 신뢰를 얻는다.

세상을 대하는 태도가 긍정적이면, 어떤 어둠 속에서도 빛을 찾아낸다.

세상에 정답은 없지만, 우리는 언제나 자신과 닮은 사람에게 끌린다.
(There may be no absolute answer in this world, but we are always drawn to those who resemble ourselves.)
나는 세상을 바라보는 시선이 발전적이고 진취적인 사람에게 마음이 간다.
(I'm attracted to people who see the world with a progressive and forward-thinking mindset.)
자신만의 만족을 좇기보다는, 함께하는 이들의 행복까지 품으려는 사람에게서 따뜻함을 느낀다.
(I feel warmth from those who seek not only their own satisfaction, but also embrace the happiness of those around them.)

물론, 막연히 “다 잘될 거야”라고 말하는 낙관보다는
“그렇게 되려면 이렇게 해야 해”라며 구체적인 방향을 제시하는 사람에게 더 믿음이 간다.
(Of course, I trust more those who, rather than saying optimistically, "Everything will be fine," provide concrete guidance on how to make it happen.)
그건 현실을 외면하지 않는 낙관, 즉 ‘실천하는 낙관주의’이기 때문이다.
(That's because it's optimism that doesn't ignore reality, in other words, "practical optimism".)
어차피 지금 이 시대를 함께 살아가는 사람들도 언젠가는 사라질 것이다.
(After all, the people we share this era with will eventually be gone.)
사람은 죽어서 이름을 남긴다 했고,
인류가 이어지는 한, 대의를 위해 자신을 희생한 사람들은 길이 기억될 것이다.

나는 오늘보다 나은 내일을 위해 산다.

하고 싶은 한 가지를 이루기 위해, 하기 싫은 열 가지를 감수하는 삶이 더 멋지다고 생각한다.

하고 싶은 대로 사는 것보다,
